Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions for expat families. Our suite of education calculators helps you navigate Dubai schooling, from understanding KHDA ratings and DSIB inspections to calculating true education costs beyond tuition fees. Whether you're comparing British, American, IB or Indian curriculum schools, our tools price them from official KHDA sources. KHDA regulates Dubai only, so every school figure on this site is Dubai — we do not publish per-school fees for Abu Dhabi (ADEK), Sharjah or the Northern Emirates, because those regulators do not publish per-grade fee data.
Our School Finder includes 218 of the 233 private schools KHDA lists for Dubai (2025-26), with up-to-date fee structures, curriculum information, location data, and official DSIB ratings on the six-point scale. The fee spread is the number most families underestimate: Grade 1 tuition runs from AED 2,612 to AED 102,588 a year with a median of AED 28,533, and by Grade 12 the median is AED 41,460 against a top of AED 140,382. The School Fee Calculator helps families budget the full run from KG through Grade 12, applying the KHDA Education Cost Index — 2.35% for 2025-26 and a 0% freeze for 2026-27 — and breaks down total annual costs including tuition, uniforms, transport, books, registration fees, and extracurricular activities, so you see the complete financial commitment of each school option.
All our school data is sourced directly from KHDA official reports, school inspection results, and verified fee schedules. We update our database annually at the start of each academic year to reflect current fee structures, curriculum changes, and DSIB rating updates. It is worth knowing what KHDA fixes beyond the rating: tuition may be taken in three termly instalments capped at 40%, 30% and 30%, or in 10 equal monthly instalments with no permitted admin surcharge; the registration deposit is capped at 10% of annual tuition, is deducted from the tuition rather than added to it, and is refundable if you cancel 60 or more days before the start date; and the application fee is capped at AED 500. Use these calculators to compare schools side-by-side, plan your education budget, and find the best fit for your child's learning needs and your family's financial situation in the UAE.
